How to specify the remote repository url for external mirror?

I would like to add a new repository to my project. I set up a repository on my local git server with SSH access, and I would like to use external mirror to link to my local repository. However, I couldn't get th connection test passed. Would like to know how to properly set up the remote repository url to get Space to sync with local repository.

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Could you please share the following information:

  • the screenshot of your mirroring settings and the error you get
  • the Space organization name

Follow the below steps to set up a remote repository in Space to sync with your local Git server:

1- Obtain the SSH URL of your local repository, ensuring you have SSH access and the repository exists.

2- In Space, go to your project's repository settings and find the option to add a remote repository or configure external mirrors.

3- Paste the SSH URL of your local repository into the appropriate field in the remote repository configuration.

4- Save the configuration and perform a connection test to ensure the SSH URL is accurate and the setup is successful.
