How do I Install the Space CLI for Deployments

The Deployments documentation mentions a space CLI that can be used to start/finish deployments. But the only way that I can find to access it is to use the Docker image with it already installed. How do I install it myself so I can use a different image for the automation? Where are the docs for the Space CLI tool?
