Consequences of deleting an account
Hello,
I would like to delete an account from Space. This account was part of some code reviews and did some commits and I would like to know whether this history stays if the account is deleted. This means: Can I still see a code review where this account has participated in and can I see the commits (including the email/username that did the commit)?

E Deutsch Hi,
Yes, the code review will be available with all its history. But the user information will be shown as "Deleted". The user could not be identified from the Space UI in this case.
Instead of deleting the user account, you might want to deactivate it. All the data will be available and the user will be shown as before but greyed out.
Thank you for your question!
When your account is deleted, you lose access to the Space organization. That means you won't be able to log in to the organization and see any data inside. The Delete action completely and irreversibly removes the profile, including all personal and authorization data and membership history. Other Space organization users will see all your former activities, but they won't be able to figure out the author.
If you want to ban an account but keep its membership history, ask your Organization administrator to deactivate it (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/space/deactivate-user-accounts.html) instead.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.
