Space On-Premises Billing Model

TL;DR;

  • There are three pricing plans available for Space On-Premises: Free (free of charge up to 10 users with some limitations), Organization (paid) and Enterprise (paid). Each plan has its own defined features and parameters described on the pricing page.
  • You are purchasing an annual subscription covering a required amount of members (users) and concurrent automation workers on one of the paid plans. You need to have an active subscription to use the product.
  • Space On-Premises is billed by the number of registered members in your Space organization. If the limit is reached, no new members can be added. Deactivated and removed members are not counted towards the limit.
  • You can add more members or concurrent automation workers at any time during your subscription via subscription upgrade action. For members, there is also an option to use an overdraft feature which lets you add more members than you have included in your subscription and post-pay for them at the end of the subscription period.
  • Trial plans for all paid plans are available and can be provided.

When do I pay?

  • You can start with Space at the Space On-Premises Free plan. You will not need to pay anything or provide a method of payment until you decide to upgrade to one of the paid plans, but the Free plan will only work for up to 10 users.
    • Alternatively, you can purchase Space On-Premises Organization or Space On-Premises Enterprise right away without going through the Free plan.

  • Space On-Premises should be always provided with a license key obtained from JetBrains to operate. You need to navigate to the JetBrains Account from your Space Installation as it has a unique ID which needs to be associated with the license. After that, you are issued a license key to be used in your installation. TIP: the installation process of Space On-Premises will guide you through this process in no time.
